Summary: When things haven’t gone according to plan, the LUG is put in a difficult situation. RAD Technologies, the creator of the growth serum, discovers someone is smuggling this serum. They are suspicious of everyone, so they send for LUG to find the criminals involved.

History of Case:Though Flester Flock and his crows have been defeated, the growth serum is still not out of the hands of the enemy. RAD Technologies, the creators of the serum, discovered that the serum was being smuggled from them, right under their noses, but were unable to find out who. With no suspect and suspicion growing, they need outside help.

Working with Dr. Richard Dean, owner of RAD, DAD calls in Gary and Ryan for a new mission to stop the smuggling. He instructs that Gary and Ryan are to go deep undercover and working blind to avoid suspicion. They are assigned to work as officers of RAD–Tech’s C.U.S.T Division – Commodes, Urinals, Sinks and Trash. Yes, they are working as janitors.

Working as the manager of the CUST division, Ryan sorts through a list of RAD–Tech projects, while Gary investigates them or rather cleans them up. Ryan and Gary cross over several experiments that are found to have no relation to the growth serum.

To make matters worse, scienists at RAD-Tech activate a new security robot, RAD 001, and it tends to frequently get in the way of Gary and Ryan’s investigation. However, progress is made when an elevator breaks down, revealing claw marks. They conclude some animal must have ripped through and set the bomb.

Meanwhile, Gary reaches a lab doing growth related experiments and sees something he hopes never to see again. Having heard of Cindy Bancock's mind-wiping machine, he chooses to have the memory removed. However, he ends up losing a little more than that.

As Ryan continues his investigation, he notices that Gary is behaving a bit strangely and fears that he may have to continue alone. Ryan decides to sneak in the security control center and retrieves footage of the elevator incident, but he finds that it was taped was recorded over at the moment it was to reveal the criminal.

Ryan soon discovers to lab that makes the growth serum. Ryan then sets up his own cameras, provided by the LUG agency, and he monitors the areas in question until he sees the culprit, a Dread agent known as Hyena. Learning when and where to expect the next shipment to be smuggled out, Ryan sets up a trap for Hyena.

However, Ryan's plan is foiled, and he is apprehended by the smugglers. Fortunately, part of Gary's memory leads him to the lab where Ryan is held, and he manages to free Ryan. Gary and Ryan then engage in a battle with Hyena and the Laughing Stock.

Finally, when the smuggling issue is resolved, but RAD Tech's security is suspicious of Gary and Ryan. Dr. Dean reveals that he requested LUG to investigate the situation in fear that his own people may have turned on him. Gary and Ryan are released. Hyena and the Laughing Stock are arrested, for a little while…
