Irvin T. Thompson, commonly known as Dr. Itt, is the head of robotics research at RAD Technologies. He’s a very intellectual man and has always had a strong fascination with robots. Over the years, he’s built many machines to serve his cause.

Irvin T. Thompson grew up with electronics. He’d frequently take things apart and dissect them to learn how the worked. Irvin was always a smart man, and he learned quickly. After years of research and studying he went on to become of the smartest students in his school.

Upon graduating, Irvin went to college studying electrical engineering and then finished with a master’s degree. During college, he spent his spare time on a quest for knowledge by working a variety of odd jobs (from a mechanic to even a plumber).

With Irvin's obsession with acquiring knowledge, he enrolled to MIT to get his Masters and PhD. After graduating, Irvin went on to work at a number of research companies (including a brief tenure at NASA). Ultimately, Irvin took on a job as a researcher/inventor at RAD Technologies.

In RAD-Tech, Irvin was given the nickname Dr. Itt by his fellow scientists. He worked loyally for Dr. Dean and later went on to work with him personally on some projects. In time, Dr. Dean was so pleased with Dr. Itt’s work that Itt was promoted to Vice President of the Robotics Research division. Itt has carried the position with pride, and he continues to make exceptional creations for RAD-Tech.

Some of his most recent creations are the R-13 series of robots and the up and coming RAD series. With the RAD series, Itt has been working personally with Dr. Dean and Dr. James Burr to see that the machines are on the cutting edge and of finest quality.
